The company was founded in 1991 by Éva Keresztury, Imre Török, Judit Storcz és Ákos Kamocsay, who are still at the helm of Hilltop Neszmély today, working together with a staff which has grown to almost 150 people. In the beginning we involved with the sale of quality wines, then gradually became wine producers as well. In 1993 we bought the cellars in Neszmély, which within a few years we turned into a winery operating with 21st-century technology, and in the meanwhile created a substantial grape processing capacity in Császár. Before long we experienced our first successes when our refreshing, fruit-driven wines were received highly favourably in the steadily expanding British market. Gradually increasing our sales, we became the biggest Hungarian producer of bottled wine exported to Britain.
